Question: Acid on the teenage brain.?
If a 14 year old (let's assume he's a male) were to take 2 tabs of acid, LSD, (this is during puberty) what would the effects on his brain be in later life.? Would he be in any way inhibited.?

LSD acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain (sends messages between nerves) which causes pathways to be created and mixed messages to be sent. That's why you get the trippy effects where your senses are mixed up (you can see sound etc.) even once the drug has worn off, some of these pathways can remain.
That's how you get some really nasty 'flashbacks' as your senses can become confused. Just don't do it, it's not worth ruining your life - these drugs are illegal for a reason; they all have harmful effects which are not worth risking for a trippy night, not just at 14, it's never worth it.Health Question & Answer

Maybe, maybe not. You really shouldn't do it. DON'T DO ACID. If you don't head this advice here is what to do.
It's going to alter the way you see things for the rest of your life. You'll most likely be okay if you're with good people in a safe place. Acid will make your senses increase. It's as if you could take a pill that made everything look geometric, like you can see math. That wont make sense until you do it if you do it. Everything you see, hear, feel, smell will have infinite meanings to you personally and intimately. It lasts for about 8-9 hours.
I would say acid is the hardest drug only in its difference from any other drug. It is very seriously mind altering and can be dangerous. There are rules: *Don't fall asleep.* That's numero uno amigo. Don't drink alcohol. Smoking pot wont do anything for you so don't waste it. Don't mix with other drugs at all, ever. Don't take more than 2 hits your first time. Be around good people, your best of friends. Be in a safe enviornment. Venture out if you want but don't get caught after curfue. The police will know that you're tripping balls, and try to stay away from sober people ie: people not on acid. They'll just freak you out.
But seriously, don't do it. It's the most serious of all drugs because it won't kill you but it has the potential to really damage some one of a weaker mind. If you've had trauma in your life, than don't do it and the following 3 or more months after you've done it is nothing more than a depressing, introspective nighmare. You'll fall asleep at night wondering... "Should I have done that, I'm different now, I'm changing, will I ever be normal again, or will I just get worse.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?" I don't think that it will have any major impact. but if you continue to do this, it will quite literally BURN holes in your brain. Im not joking. and some people have flashbacks later in life, but generally you should be fine. but I wouldn't suggest doing it again.
LSD is a weird drug, why not try some less harmful drugs if you really need to try something.?

Will their be effects on your brain, no doubt in my mind. Your chances of being inhibited are probably dependent on many factors and in combination with these factors, sure anything is possible.

It can have serious psychological effects on your body. And theres no way to tell if you will have these problems or not. Some people could do it all day, others might not handle it. 14 is way too young to be using that drug for recreation. You might freak out.Health Question & Answer
