Why is it healthy to drink red wines?!

Question: Why is it healthy to drink red wines.?
I prefer the occasional glass of a white wine. I don't enjoy the bitter and dry taste of *most* red wines. Is it just red wine or is white wine also healthy (in moderation of course).?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Red wine is rich in antioxidants that you don't find in white wine. Antioxidants slow down the aging process and reduce your chances of getting cancer. In moderation red wine is good for you (no more than 1 or 2 glasses per day) but in excess it is bad for you. Excess means more than 1 or 2 glasses per day.Health Question & Answer

As long as you are drinking in moderation. First of all, red wines are high in antioxidents. One or two glasses of red wine, per week are considered moderation. If you are not accustomed to red wine, maybe you have not been properly introduced. There are alot of good wines out there. Some are dry, or sweet, or fruity. The list goes on. Read a little about grapes. Perhaps, you can do a wine tour. That's alot of fun.Health Question & Answer

It is not so much that it is wine, it is the antioxidants in the grapes that are healthy for you.
You will get the same benefits from grape juice.
