Question: Is This A Logical Assumption.?
I know that a person's skin is their largest organ and that medicine such as the nicotine patch, and morphine patches are absorbed through the skin. With that in mind, here's my question.
If a person has a condition that restricts their sodium intake, such as high blood pressure or edema could the sodium that is used in water softener systems after time, enter the body in amounts that would contribute to their condition.?

Well that would depend on the amount of sodium in said water softening system and whether or not we can absorb sodium through the dermis. Which I really don't know lol.Health Question & Answer
