okay.. i know where and how the tampon is to be inserted. but the hole where it is supposed to go has like a circle like piece of tissue in it and i dont know how im supposed to push the tampon in that if thats in the way.? im a virgin so i dont know it could be that. but im positive theres nothing wrong with me but im really confused as to why i have this little piece of tissue in my hole. like i said are you supposed to still push the tampon in despite of it.? does anyone else have this.? and it hurts whenever i try to push the tampon up the hole. please help im dying to use tampons and its frusturating that i dont know what the tissue is! what do you think.?Health Question & Answer

That's your hymen (or "cherry"). It tears after you've had sex or sometimes when you use a tampon. It hurts a little, so its your choice whether to deal with the pain with a tampon now or later when you first have sex.

No, it can tear doing just about anything - riding a bike, a tampon, etc. Yes, you can push the tampon through but it is going to hurt. Best of luck!Health Question & Answer
