Question: Missed........................
Answers:
Could be some medication you were on when you were sick. You need to make an appointment with your doctor and be checked out. If you have irregular periods your doctor may want to put you on birth control pills just to help your periods out.

If you're on birth control and were prescribed antibiotics, it can affect your birth control and cause this to happen. also when our bodies are sick a lot of things happen inside of them, your body maybe needed to focus its attention on fighting your illness instead of shedding its lining.
Depending on how old you are and how long you've had your period being irregular is normal, It's also normal to be irregular after illness anyway because illnesses can cause stress which always seems to affect the lovely gift of a period. Everything affects your period, pretty much, so I'm sure your cycle will get back on track soon.Health Question & Answer

Having irregular or missed periods can be caused by a number of things such as significant weight gain or loss (although low body weight is a common cause of missed or irregular periods, obesity also can cause menstrual problems), over-exercise, poor nutrition (or a diet too high in carbohydrates), smoking, certain medications, caffeine, excessive alcohol use (interfering with how the liver metabolizes estrogen and progesterone), eating disorders, increased stress, PCOS (Polycystic ovarian syndrome or estrogen dominance), uterine abnormalities such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, polyps, endometriosis and hormonal imbalances.
I would recommend you consult with your doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation to see what they think could be causing this if you have missed your period for more than two months.
Good luck :)Health Question & Answer
