When your younger and your period is just starting off, your period will be very irregular.
There's nothing wrong with this. Sometimes you'll skip for two months, other times you'll have two periods in one month.
Either way it's all normal and part of being a woman.

also, if you've lost a lot of weight recently, gained weight, been nervous, or been partaking in more physical activity than usual, this could be the cause of your period being so late.Health Question & Answer

When I first got my period I didn't have cramps either. also, I use to skip periods when I was young too..still do from time to time (also, not sexually active)

worst case, you have an irregular period. I know a girl who has such an irregular period that she takes birth control to regulate it. you should probably ask your mum or school nurse about it.Health Question & Answer

its totally normal to skip them for the first few years, as you get older that get more normal, if you really think theres a problem you can go to the doctor but they wont do much unless your older and still not regular then they give you birth control because that helps you get it every month. good luckHealth Question & Answer

That's completely normal. It happens to most girls the first few months they have periods. For me it was about 6 months till it was normal.
I would have them then some times it wouldn't.. it was really scary.

but you will be ok. trust me =]
If this still does happen after you turn 14.. just go and get a check up.Health Question & Answer

As ur body is adjusting to becoming a woman ur hormones are changing all the time and having periods skip is normal for the first year.
They should start to become more regular as u get older(around 15/16) and will get heavier. Not every woman gets cramps...I only did after i had my children...
Dont stress sweety its normal...Health Question & Answer

That is normal for girls your age, trust me i am the same age (14 in may) If you are worried ask your mom or doctor they will know. But this just means you have an irregular period and it will be that wayuntil you are at least 25.Health Question & Answer

hmm... well every one has it in different times so the reason it is so heavy is because you haven't had it in two months. if it is longer then that you might want to talk to someone or seek help. but I am sure it is nothing seriousHealth Question & Answer

when you first start your period you arent going to have another for maybe up to a year.. my first time i just spotted and didnt have one for another 4 months or so and even then it wasnt a regular flow.. dont worry about it.. at all :]Health Question & Answer

lol i used to be like that when i first got mine to, i wouldnt worry about it to much, its normal if it contiunes for another month i would go ask the dr.but i think its normal dont worry about it to muchHealth Question & Answer

It can be normal for your age, but I would tell your mom and hopefully she'll call your doctor to make sure everything is ok.Health Question & Answer

There's nothing wrong with you, its normal for people your age to have irregular periods
Goodluck :)Health Question & Answer

if it's still like that after 16 they'll prob put you on bc to regulate it, but it's pretty normal for your age nowHealth Question & Answer
