Firstly, please DO NOT judge me.
I have very dark hair, so all my body hair shows up and when I was younger I was very self concious about it... especially on my breast/ nipple area. So I shaved it off.
Now I have some dark hair on my breasts, but you can't really tell unless you look for it... but I keep getting thick dark hairs around my nipples. Just a few dotted around, and I pluck them out.
I used to get in-grown ones due to the shaving, but I have stopped getting them now since I have been plucking, but they keep persisting and popping up- I feel like a man!
I've heard that electrolysis is expensive and not good for people who have breats cancer run in the family.?

sweetie...its ok...its annoying being a dark haired girl to see all these blonde girls who dont have excess body hair issues...I am the same...
Just keep plucking them...its only a few hairs right.?...I have a few too and I just pluck them if I see them and it bothers me...usually though I dont even look for them.
Electrolysis is a bit drastic unless they are really dark and thick like pubic hair...it also hurts and would be awful on the nipples... when you are in your 20's you may want to get it for upper lip hair or something ask the lady about it then...or you could go and see a lady now about it but for a few hairs I wouldnt bother.Health Question & Answer

I would get electrolysis. Its a bit painful, but no worse than waxing or plucking (in my opinion). Depending on where you are, electrolysis is usually about $10 for 10 minutes.
I haven't heard anything about the breast cancer thing, but that would be a good question to ask when you call to make an appointment.

It probably runs in your family. The only thing you can do is keep plucking and shaving and except that is the way you are. Electrolysis and laser hair removal would be the way to go.Health Question & Answer
You could have electrolysis which will permanently remove the hairs...
But if i were you i wouldn't worry too much! just wax them with little tiny wax strips or keep plucking them

Ok it is normal, get the same thing and i am 14. What i do is get very pale blonde hair dye and i dye it. I t is not noticable and then you only have to pluck once every 6 months.Health Question & Answer

I know exactly what you are going through. I am the exact same way!!! My hair is black and I am hairier than I'd like to be but I have gotten to the point where I no longer care. My lovers don't notice or care. I pluck the hair around my nipples. I am told it's better than shaving and I don't mind doing it. Eve doesn't know what she's talking about, btw. Your breasts will not get infected. Thats just absurd. As far as the rest of my body hair, I sometimes in the summers use a hair lightening cream that works really well. I got it from Avon and it makes me feel better about wearing bikinis.Health Question & Answer
