I'd like to know a little more about a girl's body. Help, please?!

Question: I'd like to know a little more about a girl's body. Help, please.?
This is a little embarrassing, but my parents never gave me "the talk" and my school's not very good at explaining how a girl's body works. Could anyone help me, please.?

It's really sad, but I don't know much about how a girl's body works and what to expect during sex or anything. *blush* So, if you could just tell me some facts, that would really help a lot. Thanks. ^-^Health Question & Answer

Here is a quick basic guide . A girl reaches puberty and her period starts, this is because her ovaries9which contain lots of eggs) release an egg or ovum. This then travels down the fallopian tubes and into the womb hoping to met a sperm on the way. In the meantime the walls of the womb are getting ready to receive a fertilized egg by thickening. If the egg reaches the womb and it has not been fertilized then the egg and the new lining is expelled out of the body as a period. Now for the egg to be fertilized the man has to get his sperm into the woman's body by way of having sex. A few myths that are not true are you cannot get pregnant if the man does not come inside you if any sperm gets into the vagina or even near the vaginal entrance it is possible to get pregnant and before men come they often release some pre come and you can get pregnant that way, so always use a condom. There are a number of diseases you can get when having sex and using a condom will help protect you. As for what to expect when you have sex that is harder as everyone feels differently, but it can be extremely pleasant if you are ready for it and with the right partner. I have listed a few sites below that might help and feel free if you want a more help on this or any other subject alright.Health Question & Answer

How old are you.? This would help in letting me know how much information you will need to satisfy your curiosity about the female body. Have you tried going to your parents to began the conversation about the female body.? Maybe they are not comfortable about starting the conversation but will be okay with continuing the conversation if you start it. If you feel you can not or do not want to talk to your parents about this you can always go to the clinic or see your doctor (gyn) and talk to her about it. There is a lot to the female body and you want to be able to discuss the things going on not just read about them. If I gave you the information you will still have questions so you need to be in the same room with the person who will be discussing this with you so you can ask questions and get the feed back that you need then and there.Health Question & Answer
