im 13 and i havnt started my period yet!!! im so freaked out becuz all my friends have!!! im really small for my age (75 pounds and 4'11") but i have other small friends who have started theirs!!! and im scared if i dont start mine im not grow any boobs!! cuz im really flat too! i also dont live with my mom so i have knowone to ask these questions.? uuggh!! PS: i have like pubic hair and stuff just not boobs or my period) so here are my questions:
1. does the size of my body affect when i start my period.?
2. why am i so behind everyone else.?
3. should i be worried cuz i feel so behind.?

im 13 14 in feb and i didnt start it yet either, i want it too, im EXACTLY LIKE YOU! om 4'11 and im about 74 73 lbs. anyway signs that youll start are "discharge" white gooey stuff comming out of there" boobs starting to grow. and hair.... yeah.
im afraid everyones right. no one can control a period. it comes when its ready.
well if you are tall and skinnny then that mihgt effect. if not. then no.people say that gaining weight helps start a period cuz you need a certain body fat to start. aroung 100 and we should be ready about to start.
i feel the same way, i dont have boobs, just verry little ones and you cant see them though shirts and stuff and i do feel left out too... :( everyone at school looks like theyre age except me. :((( it makes me cry sometimes that i know im turning 14 in exactly a month and i look nothing like a 14 year old. i have no boobs, not a period, nothing. but just wait i guess. DISCHARGE is a big sign in starting a period.

Don't worry i did not get my period till i was almost 16 you will be fine. I know that one sign some people get is some white discharge in the undies about a week before they start there period but i never noticed this. Just give it time and it will come. I know you have the pubic hair so i don't think that it should be much longer untill you have a period just dont stress about it because that could definitly stop your period from happeningHealth Question & Answer

You're getting close, the pubic hair is definetely a sign of changes to come. Don't be in such a rush though sweetie.I can tell you that it's a drag lol.Money, time, not being able to wear white bottoms for a week every month.Health Question & Answer

Some girls don't get theirs till they are 15.

Don't stress about it ! It's normal. Many girls don't get it until they're 15 or 16. It really depends on the person. As for boobs, they'll come soon too.

i am 5' 4" and 95.6 lbs. so ya thats pretty skinny

when you get to about 5' 2"... that would be a good height to start thinking if you are getting your period soon.
when you get to about 87 lbs... is a good weight to start thinking if you are getting your period soon.
if you get cramps under the belly button area often (some girls get this).... is a sign of a coming period
if you are moody
if you have a white clearish thick discharge... that could also be a sign.
dont worry!!! some girls dont get there period until they are 18 years old!
you will get it very soon. I would say once you fit into a A-cup padded bra.

2: because you are a late developer! dont worry, i didnt get mine until i was 15!!! now I was a late bloomer!!!

4: um getting frequent discharge is a big sign, and cramps. pubic hair is a sign, but not the only one. also, armpit hair and you will feel moody a few days before it starts.
