ive been off the depo for about 4 months now but i am having pregnacy symptoms sore breast moody hungry and tired all the time i really havent gained much weight but i took a test that said no and i havent gotten my period i was only on the depo for about 8 months if that has anyone else had these problemsHealth Question & Answer

Yes, definitely. When I came off depo I had the worst mood swings, cravings, fatigue, you name it. I think it's because all the suppressed hormones come on full strength when you come off the progesterone. As for your period, it will come eventually so relax. It took mine eight months to come back, but I had been on the shot for 2 two years, so yours may come sooner. Be warned though, when your start to get your period again, you may have really bad PMS. I never really had PMS in my life until I stopped getting depo, and now I have cramps and stuff every month.Health Question & Answer
