I have had an itch for 6 months now..I went to the gyno and he gave me some meds..after the treatment it was still there. I've tried home remedies, yeeast infection treatments.nothing seems to work. What could be the problem.? I shave regularly and I do not havent had sex in over a year..Health Question & Answer

What did the gyno test you for.? She may have mis-diagnosed you and therefore the treatments/meds did not work. You should go back and have her check you again and maybe get a second opinion. Good luck.Health Question & Answer
Maybe the regular shaving is irritating the skin. Or making it more sensitive to soap. I would go back to the gyno if I were you. Itchy hoo-hoo's aren't normal, especially for 6 months at a time.Health Question & Answer
well the shave is prally the best answer.. you get itchy when your growing back in. it could also be irritation from the razor... try getting shave gels made special to reduce irritation in the bikini zone...Health Question & Answer
Try not shaving - pubic hair actually has a job to do. Make sure you wear cotton panties, and use a hypo-allergencic fabric conditioner. Don't use perfumed soaps or shower gels, just very mild unperfumed soap.Health Question & Answer
