Question: Questions about the pill.?
I want to go on the pill for my period but I want to know what questions the doctors ask. I have never had sex and not planning to for a few years. I am turning 14 this year. How do I ask my mum to go on the pill.? How do I ask the doctor that it is for my period.?

im 17 and have been on it for about 2 years now...i take yaz and i take it because of bad cramps and mood swings during my period, im still a virgin....it helps alot

just tell ur mom that u have bad cramps or w/e it is during ur period and u know birth controll pills can help with the problems....she should understand and if u feel the need to tell her u dont plan to have sex anytime soon....

You are still 13 ... I would be very surprised if you had a *regular* menstrual cycle right now. I don't think I straightened out until I was near 15. You will have weird, unpredictable periods for a few more months or a year. It's part of growing up, and everyone deals with it. Unless you have some crazy thing like getting multiple periods a month or skipping 3-4 months between periods, you should probably wait it out before you resort to something such as birth control. Birth control has a lot of unwanted side effects sometimes and it may be best to try to avoid this.Health Question & Answer

my doctor just asked why i was planning to go on the pill i just said because i have really heavy periods and bad cramps then she just took my blood pressure and asked if i needed any other contraception it really isnt nothing embarassing quick question then u get ur pillHealth Question & Answer
