Question: Whats wrong with my sister (kinda gross .?).?
okay so my little sister is 9, too young to ever have had sex, and i think she might have herpes.
she complained of pain when peeing and not being able to walk and stuff so my mom took her to the doctor after she came home 2 days in a row complaining of pain.
The doctor examined her and said she has a blister or something similar right where she pee's.
The gave her a shot down there and prescribed a gel and some pain meds.
What could it be.?.? I'm really scared for her cause I've heard that herpes really hurts you. Could it be cancerous.? Please let me know you thoughts and ideas because i'd rather be scared now and discover what it was rather then have her get extremly sick or something.Health Question & Answer

it could be herpes, but when i had a bladder infection it REALLY burned when i peed and i didnt want to walk anywhere cuz i thought i would leak. it got kind of swelled up down there and irratated but she should get checked out soon.

Ignore the top poster. Yeast infection does NOT cause blisters. Herpes is extremely painful only the first time you get a sore, and then after that, people with it hardly notice it. A nine year old girl is too young to have any kind of yeast infection. However, I have a girl who had an e-coli infection for wiping from butt to front, which pushes the stool remnants into the vaginal canal... thus starting up the e-coli infection. It usually goes away on its own once the girl learns that you really need to wipe front to back instead. However, an e-coli infection does not cause blisters.
