I have recently been switched from Ortho-Tri-Cyclen-Lo to YAZ which I've somewhat heard good things about and then some bad things I have a mood problem and the doctor said that this could help a bit but I was wondering if you are on YAZ and if so could you please tell me your experience on it : ) Do you like it.? What are some of the cons of being on it.? What are some of the pros.? Would you suggest something different IF these pills do not work out for me.? yaz would be perfect for you b/c it has something in it that helps people moods i forgot what it's called im currently taking it now and i have no problems with it except i still get bad cramps other than that its good bc no breakthrough bleeding or weight gainHealth Question & Answer
I've been on it for 7 months, and I HATE IT!!! It's the worst ever. I never get a period, which to some women may be a blessing, but I have to have at least some spotting or I go crazy with worry... haha but anyway... I've decided to stop taking it because the mood swings and craziness is unbearable!! I've been off of it for 7 days now, and still no period! So if I got pregnant on that crap, I'll be doubly mad! Another reason to switch back! If you didn't like your ortho tri, I really liked Ortho Evra... i.e. The Ring. It was wonderful... I gained a little weight, but it was worth it. It was by far the best BC I've been on, and I've been on like 5 or 6 different ones by now... hope I helped! I know I rambled a bit!
::::EDIT:::: Oh my gosh that's awful!! I guess that's out as an option for me too!!! also, I wanted to tell you that I'm on 100mgs of Zoloft daily, and still get the mood swings and bipolar episodes. So if you're already experiencing that, I would suggest talking to your OBGYN about it, and seeing what he/she has to say. And possibly going to see a therapist... it may help a lot. I know it helped me a lot having someone unbiased to talk to!!Health Question & Answer

i DONT TAKE YAZ SO I REALLY CANT TELL YOU ABOUT IT, I TAKE MICROGYNON 30. tHIS PILL IS A MINI PILL AND IT WORKS WONDERS FOR ME!
i NO LONGER HAVE PMS, NO MORE MENSTRUAL CRAMPS, NO MORE HEAVY PERIODS BUT I HAVE PUT ON WEIGHT SINCE TAKING IT. i LOVE HOW THIS PILL WORKS.
i FIND IT HARDER FOR ME TO GET PREGNANT ON THIS PILL BECAUSE I STOPPED TAKING IT FOR A MONTH TO TRY FOR BABY NO 2 AND NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER UNPROTECTED SEX EVERY NIGHT LOL. THEN I HEARD ON A BABY FORUM THAT YOU HAVE TO BE OFF IT FOR 6 - 12 MONTHS IN ORDER TO CONCIEVE.
