What alcohol should i avoid while having thrush and a uti ? ?!
Question: What alcohol should i avoid while having thrush and a uti .? .?
So monday i got a uti took 2 anti bioitcs for it. tuesday got thrush.took a diflucan 1 for it. wednesday still had thrush , got a bit of the uti back - so took another anti biotic. Up until today (friday morning) ive still had a bit of thrush, the top of my vagina near the cl*t feels a little red and swollen.
Im going out tonight, what alcohol should i avoid .? Ive been drinking water all week since monday and nothing else.
Is wine something i should avoid .? I usually drink white wine, pulse or recently vodka cruisers. I want to drink tonight, so what is something i can drink tat wont react to the uti i had at the start of the week (i dont have it right now) or the thrush that is pretty much gone..?

You should avoid all alcohol until you are completely done with your prescriptions.
I'm confused by your description of taking antibiotics one day, then getting the uti again the next day, and taking another antibiotic. Are you getting a prescription from a doctor, and following the instructions, taking the entire course as directed.? Or are you picking your own antibiotics somehow.?
Alcohol is alcohol no matter what drink it comes from. Avoid it all.Health Question & Answer

You should avoid all alcoholic beverages while on antibiotics. And the reason you are getting thrush is from the antibiotics. People, especially females, should eat a container of yogurt daily if they are on long-term antibiotics in order to put the acidophalus back in your system that the antibiotics removes.Health Question & Answer
Because alcohol is 'warm' you will cultivate what ever bacteria is left in your body.
I had UTI on Tuesday and still am on antibiotics for the next eight days. Even though I feel nothing and all seems to be fine, my doctor gave me 10 days worth of antibiotics and forbids me to drink (alcohol) until another 10 days after I'm done with the meds.
SO......if you want to get your UTI back....I suggest you don't drink tonight.Health Question & Answer
