I have insurance and get generic ortho-tri (the pill) and it costs $10 each month. Really, not much at all for you to afford. Do what the other girls said and go to planned parenthood. You could even call your normal doctor and ask if they can (I'm pretty sure that if you tell them not to tell anyone, they can't). When I first got on the pill the doctor even gave me 4 months of "free sample" birth control.
Ask you friends, see if any of them have gone through this.
Additionally, I don't know your parents, but you should consider just telling your mom. Depending on the state, you could go to planned parenthood. I believe they charge you on a sliding scale depending on income. Some states may require parental permission. Planned parenthood also gives out condoms to protect against STDs and could be used as an extra precaution for pregnancy.Health Question & Answer
