I have heard about a female, who was a stripper/adult entertainer, one time, who had recently gotten a new nipple piercing. And when she was dancing at the gentleman's club, she worked at, her nipple rubbed up against the pole. And her nipple got infected that way. But I"m sure nipple infections are pretty rare, and are probably caused by extreme circumstances.
But then again, I just also remembered a story I heard about a woman who had a breast enlargement surgery done, and she chose the cheapest doctor, she could find. And apparently he did a REALLY BAD job, and her nipple actually rotted, and fell off !!! I think that story comes from Dr. 90210, if I'm NOT mistaken.
