Question: Help! I keep on bleeding threw!.?
Like everytime im on my period and im in class or anywhere sitting for a long time when i get up ive bleeded threw its sooooo embrassing and cant stand it. It has happened almost everytime im on my period and ive tried longer pads but that doesnt help! So if anyone knows a way to keep that from happening thank you!Health Question & Answer

When I first started having my period and almost through high school I had that problem. It seemed like I bled more then. I don't know if that is the case or if I change my pads or tampons more often now and deal with it better. I know your feeling, though, it is awful. Have you tried tampons in combination with pads.? That helped me. also, change often and try to avoid lots of physical activity during the first days of your period. I think that if these things don't work, maybe ask a doctor.? Certain types of birth control may help. For protecting yourself against spotting, wear a black. It sounds obvious, but I didn't think to do it until later and it saved me from a lot of embarrassment.Health Question & Answer
