Question: Serious question and really need answers.?
well im 16 and last night while being half asleep i went to go itch my leg (very close to my crotch) without rly thinking much abt it and it started to hurt a little...so i pushed down on my skin party on my crotch where the hair grows. like the space between my upper thigh and there.
i felt a lump about the size of one of those red grapes..and i can feel its under my skin...its hard...hurts a little when i push on it but that might be from scratching to hard...i rly loath going to the doctor but if this doesn't go away and becomes a problem or gets worse then i will definably go to the doctor.
but until then maybe you have some kind of idea abt wat it could be.?
when i lift up my leg i on the toilet seat can see a curve bewteen my crotch and thigh where the bump is but then when i lift up my other leg theres no curve and its perfectly normal...its rly freaking me out and i rly just hope its nothing and goes away eventually

Answers:
it could simply be a boil from shaving, in grown hairs, or fron wearing tight clothing.. i use to get them alot. so if its that they do go away in nomore than 2 weeks but try wearing looser clothing/ panties .. try sleeping without panties at night .. it helps ur blood flow more easily

see a doctor but also make sure it is not a rub burn from where your panties fit around your leg there, try sleeping with out under wear so you can get some air those creases in that part of your skin take a lot as your pants rub there to and some times the dye from new under wear and pants such as jeans irritate as well as moisture. and you might also try a warm face cloth there. good luck.Health Question & Answer
This could just be a boil, or a innocuous lump getting infected. Or, less likely, something worse. (Don't get too scared, it is unlikely that you will have it, but a woman I knew had a lump like yours in that spot that was found to be cancer). Wait a couple days and see if it goes away. It's not an ingrown hair, I know what you are talking about. I've gotten the same thing before, but they alwasy seem to go away after awhile. I've never thought about going to the dr. to see if it was anything serious because it always goes away on its own. Let me know if you find out what it is though.Health Question & Answer
If you shave, my guess is an ingrown hair. It has happened to me and its not uncommon.
I think I know what your talking about and my personal guess is an ingrown hair. I think you don't even have to shave. Your young and your body is still changing so that is my opinion.
