Will i ever grow? Short person help needed!?!

Question: Will i ever grow.? Short person help needed!.?
OK... im short (5'0) and im just an inch or 2 shorter than my sister and my other sister is 5'4. My mom isnt much taller than me but my dad is 6'4. I dont mind being short but it gets kinda annoying when everyone calls me short, even if their kidding. I got called short 7 times in one day. Im a freshman in high school which makes it worse.Health Question & Answer

You might still grow a bit, but it seems it's genetic. You're still developing while in high school, so don't worry too much.

My friend is about 5ft and is eighteen years old. She used to have problems with all the short comments, but has come to embrace it. I also have a few friends under 5ft and by now, they're absolutely fine with it. People mature when you get older, so they'll stop teasing you for it.Health Question & Answer

Probably not. My advice to you is to embrace your shortness. My sister, a junior in high school, had this same problem. (She's only 4'10 or 4'11). She's asked her doctor about it and he said that if the problem had been caught earlier she could have gotten some growth hormone perscribed to her. But, at sixteen years, old it was too late. She isn't growing any more and everybody calls her tiny tim. It's who she is.

Honestly, I'm 5'3" and I hit 5'0" my freshman year of high school. My good friend was 4'11". She's 5'0" now. But you will keep on growing until you're between 16 and 18. Don't give up hope!
Besides, short people are awesome. I love being short. You don't have to worry about hitting your head on tall things and you don't have to duck. :)Health Question & Answer

you could still grow.

But I'm 5'9 and i wish i was shorter, lol. I'm a freshmen too, and they say that girls are pretty much done growing around the age of 18.Health Question & Answer
