Calm Down! There are many reasons why your period can be late, stress, activity level, weight, the list goes on. First off you did a good thing by making an appointment with the gyno. You do not know if you have cervical cancer so calm down. I was like you always worrying when I had to go to the gyno. You may have an infection down there. I know I thought they were cramps until I woke up the next morning and could not move. It turned out to be an UTI that was turning into a kidney infection. Both of those will make you bleed.

Because you gained weight you may have thrown off your cycle and made it abnormal. Just relax worrying about it move will make you go crazy and your period won't come. Good Luck!Health Question & Answer

having unprotected sex just one time can get you pregnant. you really should see a gynecologist, and tell her/him the issues you have given here..take care...Health Question & Answer
