Personal Period Question? TMI! Help?!

Question: Personal Period Question.? TMI! Help.?
I'm on birth control. I know this has a lot to do with it, but I really don't know what is going on right now.
I started my period on Friday and it was light, but relatively normal until about two hours ago. Instead of the brown mixed in like usual, I'm only bleeding bright red blood. And a lot of it. I also have terrible blood clots and horrible cramps. What could be causing this.?Health Question & Answer

Sometimes the period is just heavy. If it lasts longer than a week or a week and a half then go to the doctor. It may be that more than one egg dropped or that you have had a change in exercise/eating. It sounds about normal though.Health Question & Answer

it has alot to do with the birth control. Since the birth control is decreasing the amount of hormones your body produces when it's your time to regulate your body is trying to get rid of the toxins so it can basically ovulate for the time being. You should be okay but if your really concerned about it go to your doctorHealth Question & Answer

endo. go to webmd & type it in & see info. there is a list of systoms you can check off. pelvis exams will not find it, they might tell you that, but you have to go in with a camera to know for sure. they can remove some of the endo to help you. can cause you not to have kids later if it gets worst. I know, because I waited till later in my 30's to have kids & now can't. I have gone to OBGYN since I was 16 & at 42 no one said anything to me.Health Question & Answer

Cervical Cancer or an STI. You're obviously sexually active with the birth control so I would bet its a sexually transmitted infection.Health Question & Answer
