Why do I have vaginal discharge everyday?!

Question: Why do I have vaginal discharge everyday.?
I've been having my period for five years now and for the past year I've been having to wear a panty liner every single day because I have discharge pretty mild every single day. What can I do to get rid of this or control it.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
That's how mine is, too. You're supposed to have discharge everyday because it cleans out your vagina. If you're self-concious about it you can wear a thin pantiliner or if you'd rather have internal protection you can use a menstrual cup such as the divacup to collect your discharge. However, dischare is secreted through the vaginal walls (unlike your period, which is from your uterus) so the divacup will only catch about 85% of it.

There isn't a way to have less.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

Some girls do produce more discharge than others, but most doctors won't do anything about it unless you've had an abnormal pap.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown. This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Your first period can look like this also.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulvaHealth Question & Answer

Try using a product called rePHresh. It's supposed to level out your PH balance. If you are sexually active it could be because of that. I noticed that if I didn't have sex on the regular I would have discharge. Come to find out my PH balance was off. Crazy as it was I found out that I had been so used to being with my husband that our PH's balanced one another out. Just try the rePHresh and see how that works for you.

Good luck!Health Question & Answer

Vaginal discharge is normal for everyone.
It is just a way of how our body cleans itself out.
It is kinda gross but we have to live with it.
Just keep using a pantyliner.

God bless and God loves you. :)Health Question & Answer

So your Vagina won't get dried up, and it cleans itself by taking it all out on the discharge. If you don't have discharge, you could get infected.

And you cant control it. :3
