Hi i am gabby and i am from las vegas and i am really scard of my period i am going through alot of changes i am really cranky and mad a lot and i have lots of pubic hair ,also hair in my under my arms and hair in "THE SPOT" when is my period going to come its not like i want it but i am scard and i have white stuff coming out of "THE SPOT" what do i do.? and i am wayyyy to scard to talk to my mom i am really scard to tell even when my period does come.......one of my friends alreay started there period and they gave me 4 pads to start with until i do get my period i am way freaked out about this whole thing i just found all this out about a year ago and that is when it all start my breast hurt and so does "THE SPOT".....what do i do....?.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

Well your period can start at anytime even though you have hair throughout your body. My sister did and she didn't start until she was 13 years old. Unlike me, I was only 7 years old. You will not know when you are going to start, it is unpredictable. It is good to know a lot about it so you can prepare for it, so it is good your friends have started so you can ask them questions too. Don't be afraid to talk to your mom, I never was because she has a period too. Even my dad knows but he understands anyways because he already knows what a period is. A period is nothing to get afraid of it is just something you will be living with until you go through menopause in the future. I hate periods because you have to go to the bathroom and the pads are so loud and girls in your school probably haven't started so they will think it is gross, I got teased because of it but I denied it, screw that! I also hate the cramps but I take Tylenol, it doesn't work well but since I am allergic to Advil and all that so I have no choice. Only God knows that. However its not something that you need to get this freaked out about. And as awkward as it is, its really somehting you should talk about in person. If you cant talk to your mom, talk to an adult you trust. Maybe someone from church, or something like that. It's different for everyone. The first time you get it it shouldn't even be that bad. My first one was so light that i didnt even notice until I went to the bathroom at some point in the day. Just be sure that when you DO get it, tell your mom. She'll help you outHealth Question & Answer
