I wear pads and am quite happy with them. Don't like the idea of tampons coz of the obvious risk. Don't understand why people would wear them for more than swimming. And yes they do feel dry unless you're flow is really heavy. I dunno if you have them there but stayfree is the best i dunno how they work but you stay completely dry with them it's great plus i always wear ultra thin pads and i seriously forget I'm wearing them they're so comfyHealth Question & Answer

I use pads for bed an tampons throughout the day.personally i find it more comfortable. Maybe you could try out pads to start with, as its best to use tampons half way through your period, when theres more to soak up and least likely to irritate. You can feel pads but its not uncomfortable and unless you dont put it in high enough you cant feel tampons.Health Question & Answer

Tampons are great because it makes you feel free and you can do what ever you like, .. swimming and such but i find them hard to put in and are uncomfortable for me.

I use pads a lot now and you can buy pads that are less annoying to wear. I find the pads with wings are the best as they hold on to your panties better and no i don't feel pads when i walk, maybe sitting down though.Health Question & Answer

From a purely medical perspective, pads are better, as tampons, particularly high absorbence tampons, present a risk of TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome). This risk, while ordinarily extremely low, becomes significant when tampons are worn for extended periods of time.

As to comfort or convenience, I can offer no experience.Health Question & Answer
