Question: Can i get birth control for more then one month at one time.? .?

Yes you can have birth control for several months at a time. I think you can get it for 2-3 months max. But you will need to go to a general practice doctor or Gynecologist and get a prescription for 2 or 3 months. I have this prescription filled by mail order since going to the local pharmacy cost $50 per pack (and this is with insurance) but mail order is like $47 for three months. Check out some of the websites online, they will fill the prescription for you, You just need to mail in or fax your prescription to them. Hope this helps!Health Question & Answer

I'm not sure if you can get more than one month of the pill at a time, but if you really don't want to go to planned parenthood every month then I recommend getting a different type of birth control. An IUD, for example, is inserted into your uterus and prevents pregnancies for five to ten years, or until you get it taken out. It's more effective than the pill and more cost-effective in the long run (it is expensive to get put in, but in the long run it costs less than paying for the pill every month.) Yes, well my pill came in packs of three so I didn't have to pick them up until every three months, ask if you can have something like that because your a busy person. I also was able to get more than one when I was going on a trip, I just told them I was going out of town.
I got mine from a walgreens pharmacy so I'm not sure if that would be different than actually going to the clinic, I don't see why.Health Question & Answer
