Hey has anyone ever had to change their borth control after being on it a long time because of breakthrough bleeding/ spotting or bloating or enlarged breasts or being overly emotional or cramping.? My doc switching me from ortho lo to yasmin but not sure it's right thing to do..Health Question & Answer

well your doctor isnt you, but they dont just wake up one morning and decide they're going to mess with your meds. they have changed it because of concern with somethign yuo have told them. but i'd trust them becuase they are the one with the degree ad whatnot, but if you experience anymore abnormal feelings and symptoms on yasmin, be sure to tell your doctor. it may be more than the birth control itself.Health Question & Answer
They're all equally effective, so just take the recommended precautions during intercourse after switching pills. Some pills can have different side effects for different women, so switching them is a fairly normal thing to do.Health Question & Answer
