Question: Did I start my birth control at the right time and can I have sex now that I am on the inactive tablet.?
I got my period on a monday and it ended on a thursday and then on sunday I started the birth control pill Tri-Sprintec oral, the 28 day pack. Did I start it at the right time.? I am now on the inactive pills and have not gotten my period. Can I have unprotected sex without getting pregnant.?Health Question & Answer

Yes, you started your birth control on the correct day. You were protected from pregnancy after being on the pill for 7 days, and are also protected during the inactive pills. Your period should start on about the 3-4th inactive pill.
