Answers:
Everyone gets their period at a different time, most people I know got them between twelve and fourteen.
Not everyone
No, not if you change them often enough
Yes, always carry one in your schoolbag, just in case.
If you have a school nurse, she would have some or maybe some of the other girls would have one.
I'm sure your gym teacher won't mind, is perfectly normal
I was thirteen, bit strange at first but you get used to it pretty quick.Health Question & Answer

wow, so many questions lol
1. I got mine right before I was 13. I know you want definite answers, but everyone is different. however, it seems to me that the smaller and skinnier you are, the longer it will take for you to get it.
2. No, I generally don't. But before you even get your first period you will probably have discharge occasionally.
3. Yes and no. Most have a plastic coating on the back so that this doesn't happen, but if it does get full enough, it can leek over the sides. You should be fine though, it takes hours upon hours for it to ususally get this full and you can feel it getting really soaked.
4. Definitly! No matter what, even if you're not on or if you were just on and think you won't have it for another month. There is nothing worse than being unprepared at school.
5. No biggie. He is not an idiot and will know that as a girl you will naturally have such inconveinces. At first it is all a little unnerving but soon it will seem like absolutly no big deal. Same as any other fact of life
6. I got mine a few weeks before I turned 13 and at first I was a little overwelmed for some reason. I, like most girls was really light my first time and there wasn't even any blood. Just some brown chunks(sorry, gross I know but you seem to want details lol) At first I was afraid to tell my mom but when I finally got the balls to do it she was happy for me because I was one of the last of my friends to get it. I just remember going around school and wondering if everyone else had theirs already too.

You'll be fine though, don't stress about it. It will come in time and you'll figure out how to take care of everything.Health Question & Answer

Every girl is different there fore your body starts when it is needed. Ask your mom when she started. Usually girls start around the time their mother did.

Not everyone discharges but the majority of females do. Girls can discharge wayy before they get their periods.

Pads are usually dependable. It depends what kind of pad you have and what your flow is. If its heavy i suggest a tampon and a pad. If its like either one would work. Personally I do not like pads.

If you were ugz or other boot type of shoes you can stick them in the side. You can use a purse if you carry one. If your pocket is big enough those work. Under your foot in your shoe.

Try to Bring your pads to school. Dont depend on the schools resouces. It will save you the embarassment and awkward conversations. If you must you can ask the nurse.

If the gym teacher is female she will understand. If it is a male most likely he is married/in a relationship/has children which means he has dealt with this before and it is no surprise. And either way he is teaching a gym class with other girls. Trust me either way the gym teacher with think none the less of you.

I got my period last year. I was 13 years old and in the 7th grade. It wasn't so bad considering I started right before I woke up. It's not as bad as you think it is. Every women goes through it, it's just a part of life. Just stop worrying and let what happens happen.

Hope I helped :)Health Question & Answer

Being a teenage girl.Health Question & Answer

When I was 11, I was really self conscious about starting. Don't worry, it'll happen, usually between 11-13. I started at 12, like most.

Discharge happens a lot before your period, but can happen 2-3 months before it even happens.

Pads will only leak if A) you have a heavy flow, B) You leave them in too long, or C) you use ones that are too thin for you. Personally, tampons are cleaner and you can't really feel them.

Pads at school: Female teachers, nurse, or friends that have started. Nuff said.

Don't be embarrassed if the teacher sees you. If you need it, you need it.

Mine was really painless, and I barely knew it was happening. I got it April of last year, when I was twelve. Sometimes you miss your second period, I did, and it can be a lot more painful (with cramps, bloating, Pms...) I didn't get those symptoms until a couple months after I started.Health Question & Answer

A women can start her period anywhere between the ages of 9-16. The mean age for menarche (first period) is 12 years and 11 months. There is no way of knowing when you will start.

Most women start getting discharge a year or a few months before their period starts.

It dosen't matter if the gym teacher sees you getting a pad from your bag.

I was 11.

If your flow is very heavy and you don't change the pad frequently enough or use the correct absorbency then yes it may leak.

Just keep your pads in your school bag.Health Question & Answer
