Question: Is this normal im scared.?
my friend she pierced a 2nd hole in my ear and every time i take it out it to clean, it bleeds from the hole and im scared it is like infected or something. so is it normaLHealth Question & Answer

It is normal to a point for your piercing to bleed. Keep it well cleaned and the earring or stud clean as well. I used peroxide to clean the hole and alcohol to clean the earring. Watch for signs of infection- Severe tenderness, redness, swelling, a yellowish/greenish discharge(pus), a foul odor, and a temp.Health Question & Answer

When did she pierce it...recently.? You're supposed to leave your earring in for a couple weeks before you take it out, that's probably why it's bleeding. Just leave it in, twist is at least once a day, and clean it without taking it out. Just pour the cleaning solution over your ear, or wet a kleenex with some and bloch it on your ear. If your ear turns red and hurts and is still bleeding in a couple days, then yeah, it's probably infected.Health Question & Answer

It may be infected, but more likely she went through a capillary. Four piercings does not make you good at it. The equipment she used was no doubt improper (Probably a needle) and it just isn't made for that. Bleeding may or may not accompany an infection. Most likely she wanged a capillary and it will take time for it to close because the hole wasn't properly made. It will eventually stop bleeding.Health Question & Answer

you should only let someone pierce your ears if they have a professional peircing gun. its likely that it is infected depending on how long ago it was pierced. you probably shouldn't take your earings out until about three weeks. until then just use rubbing alcoholand twist the studs. if your ear swells up realy bad you need to go to the doctor. hope this helpsHealth Question & Answer

Clean the earring with hydrogen peroxide. Swab the pierced section with alcohol or peroxide. Keep it clean. It may just be taking a little longer to heal. If it starts to turn red or is swelling it may be infected.Health Question & Answer
