Question: Is this common- My breasts feel hot and look red.?
I am 21 weeks pregnant with my first child. I have started to have small amounts of leakage already. My breasts were not hurting I was just changing and noticed that they were red then that they were much warmer than the rest of my body especially my belly which is usually cool to the touch- Is this normal and did you experience this with your pregnancies.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

its totally fine. the mammary glands are working hard to get the milk and colostrum ready for the baby. it usually does not cause any discomfort but the warmness is to be expected. it wont last forever and will go away .as far as the redness it may just be flush due to your bodies hard work at the moment. al is well....no worries. congrats.Health Question & Answer
Yes I had that when I was pregnant. It could be mastitis which is a breast infection that occurs when you have a blocked duct. You should call your O.B. to have it checked if it continues and is bothersome.Health Question & Answer
