I'm 12, and Mine started in April, and it still does that.. The first time I pulled a tampon out, I freaked and called my mom and went "MOMMY!!!!! There's poo on the tampon!" lol, it was hilarious, but, it's normal..Health Question & Answer

Yes! Totally normal :D

When girls first start their periods it is usually not bright red on the first day, in fact it is usually a dark reddy brown, like dried blood.. It does not flow perfectly on the first day, or the first time at all..

You may find you have newer blood (bright red blood) coming through now, this is normal also.. Health Question & Answer

its normal..
if this is your first period talk to your mum or an older female to fill in the details..
best advice in future is to carry some tampons or pads with you when your about to get your period, to avoid embarrassing momentsHealth Question & Answer
