hey ok so u know how they say you can keep them in for up to 8 hours...... well does that mean you can wear one tampon or 8 hours and then change it into another tampon.? or after the 8 hours is up you have to wear a pad; and if so for how long do you have to wear the pad.? k thanks..Health Question & Answer

Well it all depends on your flow.. If you have a light flow that could last 8 hours in a tampon, it's saying that you should change it after 8 hours into another tampon (if you want) but you are also welcome to change ito a pad.. Wearing a pad all depends on how heavy or light your flow is.. i would say to change a pad after about 3-4 hours at most, but it can be more or less tie depending on if your flow is light or heavy..
