However, most antibiotics are formulated NOT to breakdown and are excreted in the urine or bile unchanged or possibly slightly oxidized in the liver.. Since there is no breakdown, your body absorbs no energy from it and there are no calories.. Therefore burning the pill would not be an accurate measure of calorie content..Health Question & Answer
