My girlfriend is bleeding MUCH more than normal.?!

Question: My girlfriend is bleeding MUCH more than normal..?
She had her period last week, and it's been over for a while. Today, she began bleeding VERY heavily and it doesn't really seem to be stopping much. She put in a tampon and it filled in about 15 minutes. Does anyone know what could be wrong.?.?.? =\Health Question & Answer

Hmmmm...because you cut her vag open and she's bleeding LOVE, for you! =DHealth Question & Answer

She needs to go see a doc because nobody will be able to answer your question. It could be something simple like hormonal imbalance or something much more complicated like a miscarriage, a cyst or benign (non-cancerous) tumor, or something along those lines. Profuse bleeding isn't normal and she needs to be checked out to have it corrected.Health Question & Answer

She needs to go to the emergency room right now.

It sounds like she is hemmoraging. If she doesn't get treated, she could die.

A heavy period is needing to change your tampon every hour and a half, every 15 mins is not your period.Health Question & Answer

tell her to stop using tampon's (just for now) and switch to pads, if she fills a pad up within in hour she need to go to the dr or er asap. possible miscarriage even if she had a regular period. Health Question & Answer

If she filled a tampon in less than 1 hour this is a medical emergency and she needs to go to the Emergency room NOW!Health Question & Answer
