I heard they stop growing after they get their period but I got mine last year (I"m 13, 5'5, and kinda flat chested) when I was only like 5'1

You stop growing about two years after you get your period. I know this cause I had to have spinal surgery when I was a teenager and they needed to time it right as soon as I was done growing, for some reason. Anyway I got my period at 12 and they planned the surgery (over a year in advance) for shortly after I turned 14.

That is not true. I got my period when I was twelve, and I've grown nearly four inches since. Most girls stop growing around sixteen, but some can stop as early as thirteen.
