and sometimes you can skip a periods and not be pregnant Health Question & Answer

Depends on how late your period is.

2 weeks late with a negative test is pretty much a negative.

2 days late with a negative test result could be a false negative.

Usually tests come in packs of two, right.? Wait a week and take another. Or go to a clinic and have them test (usually $15 -$25 at women's clinic) if you can't wait.Health Question & Answer

take another test. go to your doctor. there are numerous reasons why you could miss you period or have an irregular one, up until your 20's its common to have an occasional irregular period, even if all you other ones are perfectly timed. stressing that you might be pregnant can cause you to miss your period. the only way to know whats up is to go to your doctor.Health Question & Answer
