I have no period - Im 16?!
Question: I have no period - Im 16.?
Ok, I usually get my period on time, last month I got it on the 7th August. I haven't had it since. I dont have sex or anything so what is it.
I have been very stressed lately and I am going to the doctors on Tuesday to sort out a problem that I might have, Bipolar. My period is never usually late. I know it sounds stupid, but I keep thinking, what if Im pregnant.
also if it helpes you solve the problem.
I have been really sleepy recently.
I sleep all the time, in the car, which I hardly ever do...
I feel so bloated.
and I get headaches more often, thanks.

hm...well just so you know, it's completely normal to skip a month or two in your menstrual cycle. Its also normal for your cycle to change abruptly as you get older. One of my friends, for instance used to have her period very frequently when she first started then when she got to be about 18 her period started to be a semi annual thing. I'd say to just wade it out for a couple more months. Its a good thing that your going to see the doctor. That's the first thing I would do. But from the stuff that you say you've been experiencing, it sounds more like malnourishment than anything else.

If you haven't had sex you can't be pregnant! You might just be late, if you're sixteen you probably might not always have a regular period. It could also be early menopause, but I doubt it. If you do get your period again, you should maybe try birth control so you always know when it'll be. It could also be stress, that often makes it late and bipolar disorder could also be the reason, the doctor will know for sure.Health Question & Answer
I've had this problem before. My periods are usually never late as well but after about a year of being on time, it will stop for a month and then start over again. I talked to my doctor and a few of my friends and they said it is normal to not have a period for quite some time. As far as the pregnant theory goes, if you never had sex, you cannot be pregnant. I'm sure your doctors visit will clear up everything. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
stress is the most common thing to make your periods late, so don't worry about it. i used to worry a lot about being pregnant before i had sex, and it is actually VERY difficult to get pregnant if you haven't ever had sex. it's not a stupid thing to think, its possible, but its just incredibly unlikely. (basically you have to get the boy's sperm all over your vagina, or inside through a finger or something.) Health Question & Answer
There can be really, really long breaks in between your period each month. It usually happens with young women, before you get on a regular schedule. It can be as long as 4 months (or longer) in between each period. You can't get pregnant if you haven't had sex, so don't worry about that.Health Question & Answer
the bipolar disorder could have something to do with it. and the stress. stress is the #1 cause of many health problems sometimes.
you're not pregnant if you haven't had sex. you know that hun.
the headaches and tiredness sounds a little like anemia but i think it may all be linked to the bipolar disorder. Health Question & Answer

At 16 your period still isn't on a normal rhythm. It is ok to have it late some months and early some. Don't listen to the guy above me. If you play alot of sports that is probably the reason. but if you are stressed, that also affects it. If you don't get your period in another 3 wks go check it outHealth Question & Answer
Sometimes the cycle gets thrown off especially in the teens. I have never been regular and I am 52. (Still getting them though by the way),
You are not pregnant. What a relief.
Ask your doctor tomorrow.
BiPolar responds very well to medication.
From your symptoms, it sounds like your period is coming.
But ask your doctor tomorrow. I bet the doctor will not be alarmed at all. Health Question & Answer
