Tampons always leak - why?!
Question: Tampons always leak - why.?
Whenever I put in a tampon it leaks, so that if I use a tampon I will only use it with a pad. I will use a tampon sometimes like when I sleep because I tend to shift around a lot and will stain my pjs or sheets otherwise.
Please do not start with the 'you must have a giant vagina' thing. My husband and I had good sex and he said I was very 'tight'. I use applicator tampons and the heaviest absorbancy.
Why does this happen and what can I do.?Health Question & Answer

I have just passed the menopause but if it's any consolation I had the exact same problem as you. I tried all brands and did not keep a tampoon in overlong as someone has suggested and it still happened. I know this is not a solution to your problem but I am sure you and I are not the only two in the world who experiences this!Health Question & Answer
I've experienced leaking when a "clot" attaches to the tampon-then the fluid leaks around it. Only solution is to wear a pad as well.Health Question & Answer
Have you tried Lilets.? They expand width ways and feel more secure than tampax.
