I'm 22, have had no sexual activity and was wondering what your opinions were on what time to ask for or get a smear test done.?

Most doctors recommend between the ages of 18 - 21 or when you start having sex, whichever comes first. If you have a family history of cervical cancer you should get one earlier. Make sure you tell your ob/gyn that you are a virgin, they can use a pediatric speculum which is smaller than the normal ones; it may be more comfortable for you.Health Question & Answer
