When you get a lot more discharge than usual around a certain time of month every month, is that ovulation?!

Question: When you get a lot more discharge than usual around a certain time of month every month, is that ovulation.?
I have like 2 weeks until my period is due but I had A LOT of discharge today and I won't tell you how much because it's TMI but it was A LOT. I had sex with my boyfriend on Saturday if that has anything to do with it. Do you usually have a lot more discharge than usual when ovulating.? Thanks.Health Question & Answer

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Health Question & Answer

the mucus changes during the month as hormones change at ovulation its normally slippery & stringy and yes there usually is more of it.
