My friend was told by a doctor she has no tissue in her breast. I told her that was just a way for the doctor to say your flat. What do you think the doctor was trying to tell her.?Health Question & Answer

Well what did she go for.? You can't just say thats mean under the context you have given us. If the doctor saw her and said, "damn girl, you have no tissue in your chest!", then yes, that would be rude. If he was giving her an examination or she asked a question about her breasts, and that was his response, I am sure there was something medical behind it.

For starters, this does not sound right. There is no way to really evaluate breast tissue in a girl who is just entering puberty, especially if this doctor did not use any MRI or other imaging tools. It makes me wonder if your friend was going to this doctor to get evaluated for a breast augmentation. That is the only thing that makes sense as to why a doctor would make such a claim.Health Question & Answer
it depends on what she was at the doctors for. it could be his opinion or it could be a way for him to try and make money by giving surgery if thats what she was there for. not all women have big boobs and personally i dont think they're attractive anyways it looks tacky. If your friend is anywhere near the age of menopause, the doctor was trying to tell her that her breast tissue is gone. Mammary glands go away during menopause, and are replaced by fat and other tissue.

well it depends on her age and the context really, if shes young and concerned shes not developing than he/she was telling her that she has yet to develop tissue. if shes older and has not got any at all than its possible he was explaining why they hadnt developed "lack of tisue" ect ect...

I think the doctor told her exactly what he was trying to tell her. Breasts are made of fatty tissue. If she doesn't have any tissue in her breasts, than of course she is flat. Why look into it any more than that.? Did she think she had a huge set and this was a revelation that has shocked her.? Get a grip.Health Question & Answer
