How many types of yoga are ?!

First, be aware that especially in West hemisphere (and perhaps particularly the US), the word yoga is frequently misused to represent only the practice of physical poses ('asanas').

There are yogas that traditionally have nothing to do with asana practice, such as Jnana yoga, Karma yoga, and Bhakti yoga.


Will assume your question is about asana practice, which in general, can be covered under term Hatha yoga (which itself could be considered under Raja yoga).

I've never seen a list of Hatha yoga styles that claimed to be complete, likely because people (again particularly in the West) are frequently modifying and mixing styles and giving these 'new' styles names.

The "Ienga" you mention is likely Iyengar style.
