I had irregular periods for the first 6 yrs that I had them. There are so many things that can cause your period timing to change, inlcuding stress, eating habits and exercise. It is completely normal for your period to be late, early, or even non existant for a month. So long as you know that you are not pregnant, I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. I have been 2-3 weeks late before and for no reason it seems like. I'm sure this is just your body adjusting to the stage you are in right now. I definitely don't think you have anything to worry about!Health Question & Answer

Are you sexually active or on birth control.? if the answer is no and no, then you are having irregular periods like all women do sometimes. And you are young and will have irregular ones for the next 4 or 5 years, and maybe they will get regular, but some women just have irregular periods. and thats another reason to take birth control. If you still have irregular periods by the time you are 18, take birth control.Health Question & Answer
