I can't get a hold of my doctor. I have been on Birth control for 3 months for my Endometriosis. I am not supposed to be having a period until 7 days from now, but for the past 3 days I've been bleeding really bad and have a very uncomfortable feeling (not cramps just discomfort) Its not period blood either because it starts heavy then stops.Only really coming out when I urinate (TMI I know) but I'm scared I may be hemorrhaging. This is not normal spotting as occurs with BC pills.I had a yeast infection last week and I started bleeding when I began treating it.Someone with some knowledge about this please tell me whats happening.?Health Question & Answer

I would stop worrying if I were you, at least untill you see the doctor. I am assuming that by birth control you mean oral contraceptives.? If yes, then I would say that it is a form of side effect from the pill. Its normal especially for endometriosis patients. You may also have nausea and breast tenderness. Whatever the case, stop worrying! it will be fine. Just make sure you have sufficient intake of iron (from spinach and the likes) to replace the blood you've lost and prevent you from Anemia. You're having break through bleeding for some reason. You REALLY need to get into your gyno's office. You aren't hemorrhaging, that doesn't start and stop and start and stop. This is something only your doctor can take care of. Health Question & Answer
If you think you are hemorrhaging go to the emergency room or call 911

Your doctor should have a physician on call for him (covering in his absence). I would advise calling their office again or making a quick trip to your closest Urgent Care.
