You don't need to see a doctor, if you have never had a period before, this is what it is. It's not just blood that comes out, it's uterine lining as well which is much darker. Most of the time women's period blood is dark red, sometimes brown. There is nothing wrong with you, just start buying some pads or tampons and you will be fine!Health Question & Answer
