Will getting your tubes tied help with menstrual cramps?!
Question: Will getting your tubes tied help with menstrual cramps.?
How was it for you.? I know it won't stop periods altogether, and that's okay, but specifically I want to know if it helps with bad period pain (or can it make it worse).?

No, it didn't for me. It was the same afterward.Health Question & Answer
No that has nothing to do with your uterus. Menstruation is the breakdown of the uterus lining, a natural cleaning of the garbage in our vagina. The tuba-ligation just crosses the fallopian tubes so the egg is not fertilized (and that is not always true lots of women still conceive, my aunt being one of them). Diet near your cycle and exercise help PLUS have a check to see if you have other issues if your cramps are horrible enough to interfere with daily activity. may be something, may be nothing big.Health Question & Answer
For most of my friends, including myself, it was worse. I just hope you know that getting them tied is not 100% effective against pregnancy. Ask your doctor.Health Question & Answer
