Question: How to get in shape.? (I hate these "vanity pounds").?
I'm 16, 5'4" or 5'5", and weight about 125-127 lbs... My bone frame is narrow/medium-small. I hate my thighs and stomach... I realize I don't need to lose a lot of weight or anything, but 5, 10 lbs might be good. How can I go about doing this in a healthy way.? What can I do to help get in shape.?Health Question & Answer

Cardio is your best bet. Running a two or three times a week will really help. I always kind of liked running, but found it boring, until iPods were invented. I found I can actually run a lot more when I can listen to music while doing it. You are right though, the last 5-10 lbs are the toughest. If you absolutely hate running then walking is a good alternative, plus it's good to do with friends and family. If your mom wants to drop a few lbs then I am sure she will be willing to go out walking/jogging with you. Get other people involved with it and you will be much more likely to stick with it.Health Question & Answer
