Pain during sex with my husband?!

Question: Pain during sex with my husband.?
sometimes when my husband and i have sex, it hurts. it doesnt last the whole time, usually just at the beginning and then the more i relax, it goes away... or if we change positions. i mentioned to my doctor once and she acted like that was a bad thing and gave me a pap and all that but then i was ok down there..
well what could be causing this then.? is it because im tense.?
does anyone else have this problem.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
hey, i know what you mean. it is a combination of you being tight and not wet enough, and him being too large.

How much foreplay do you ingage in before he penetrates you.? an hour of cuddles and lots of kissing, or does he just 'go for it'.? If that is the case, there is your problem.

Try this:
Cuddle for half an hour. Then get him to push a single finger inside of you and touch your g spot. This wil make you very wet and in the mood. also relaxed. Once you are both sufficiently wanting more, then get him to cover his whole penis in lube. It will make penetrating you so much easier. It doesnt matter how wet you are, still get him to do this.

It would also be a great help if ( i dont know what your husbands skills are like...) he went down on you and made the effort to give you an orgasm at the beginning of each session with his mouth before penetrating you. That way, you'll be ULTRA relaxed.

Sincerely hope i helped.

Try what i said - and you shouldnt feel pain. It is what me and my partner to every time because I am just too tight he would kill me if he pushed in suddenly LOL. Health Question & Answer

Are you and your husband having at least 10 minutes of foreplay before sex. While you may have not always had to do this, your probably getting older, not old just older. When we age, the natural lubrication of our bodies slows down. If it feels like your stretching, have him finger you first, or if it feels more like a pain caused by rubbing, use KY gelly or have some oral fun before.Health Question & Answer

It's normal. Just make sure to relax and really be into it so that you can lubricate yourself well down there and relax your muscles. If you don't have sex often, then it might be that the unused muscles just need some stretching..which is why it doesn't hurt the entire time. Is it during a certain time of the month.? Stick with a position you're comfortable with until your pain goes away during sex.Health Question & Answer

YES! I have this problem. When my husband enters me, it feels like I'm being ripped apart. I just dread having sex. My Dr. was a real prick about it when I discussed it with him, so I'm not going to see him anymore.
Oral sex, lubricant and fingering helps some, but it still hurts. It's like he has to get past a certain point.
Of course you're tense!! You know you're getting ready to be in pain.
I wish you a lot of luck and pain-free sex.

If you aren't completely relaxed it can hurt. Try to calm down before having sex. If you find a position that causes less pain and you are comfortable with, try that for awhile. Health Question & Answer
