I'm having chafing issues?!

Question: I'm having chafing issues.?
Here's the deal:
I am a large-breasted woman (I wear a 36 DD) and I have recently taken up running/jogging for health reasons. I have never really been a very active girl due to my large chest and being very uncomfortable with it. My problem now is that whenever I run or jog wearing a sports bra I get a slight rash between my breasts from them rubbing together. I have tried to find more supportive sports bras that separate the breasts however they don't seem to ever separate mine... What can I do to stop the chafing.? I have heard I could try spray powder deodorant on the area, do you think that would work.? Any other ideas.? I'm almost ready to give up on my exercise because I am so uncomfortable. :(Health Question & Answer

There are several things you can do including the powder deodorant.
Apply a medicated cream. If the chafed area feels really irritated, smooth on an over-the-counter cortisone cream such as Cortaid.
Try an antifungal cream. "Apply Lotrimin or Monistat to the area..
Sprinkle on an absorbent powder. Sprinkle a light covering of Zeasorb powder in areas prone to chafing.

Baby powder won't work well because of your sweat. During marathons some runners put vaseline on the insides of there calves because they bleed from rubbing on each other on long distance runs.

Try vaseline!

Funny story: My friend runs marathons and his nipples bled from his t-shirt rubbing on it so the next time he wore band-aids over them. LOL!Health Question & Answer

Yes! I know exactly what you mean. I use "Liquid Baby Powder", Huggies makes it and I'm sure you'll find various makers of it in the baby isle. Just rub it on like a lotion, and within minutes it turns into a powder, but it stays put pretty good.Health Question & Answer
